ABOUT ME

I moved into teaching after a career in patent law where I specialized in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biologicals. I have worked for The Cleveland Clinic, Cardinal Intellectual Property (on contract for the United States Patent and Trademark Office), and in an odd professional detour, for furniture retailer LoveSac. You will find me in my spare time exploring the outdoors, reading and writing. I am particularly fond of Russian literature.

B.A., Northwestern University (Biology, Neurobiology Concentration)

J.D., Case Western Reserve University School of Law (emphasis on intellectual property and medical law)
